My focus is on Academics, Accountability, and Consequences.

Wentzville School District is the bedrock of our community. Families rely heavily on Public Education. We must get back to basics. Our teachers are burnt out and feeling unsupported. They are stretched too thin and in need of support from the community and the School Administration. Teachers should be able to focus their time on academic excellence and student performance.

The Board, along with Administration, needs to dive into the District’s finances. As a board member, I would like to work with other board members to target areas where we could consolidate resources. We need to work with our educators to determine if there are alternate resources and find ways to ease their workload. As a board member, I will have an open line of communication with teachers and administration.

As a board member, we need to collectively focus on student accountability and consequences. The Board needs to hold our Administration accountable for following and implementing our discipline policies consistently district wide. Our teachers want to focus on educating our students rather than handling disruptive and disrespectful students. Respect for others and responsibility for oneself need to return to the classroom, creating a safe and more productive classroom. In return, my goal would be to improve attendance, grades, and overall school environment.
